How close is the EU to its goal of 25% agricultural land under organic farming?
Organic farming can help protect biodiversity, improve soil health and support more sustainable food production.
As the EU works towards its goal of having 25% of agricultural land under organic farming by 2030, we continue to highlight the role of sustainable food systems in building a greener, fairer and more resilient Europe.
Through our work, we have consistently called for:
🌱 supporting farmers during the transition to more sustainable production methods;
🌱 strengthening local and regional food supply chains;
🌱 protecting biodiversity and natural resources;
🌱 making sustainable food accessible and affordable to everyone.
